Amy graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1996. She received her diploma in nursing from Bryan School of Nursing in 1999 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2002. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2005. She graduated with her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in May of 2013. She is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has been with Gastroenterology Specialties since January 2006. She is a member of the Nebraska Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
